Scout inspects the local network you choose and keeps that information on-device whenever possible.
1. Network data collected
Scout locally collects device names, local IP addresses, visible MAC addresses, vendors, and detected protocols so it can display your scan results.
2. Notifications
If you enable alerts, iOS may notify you when a new unknown device appears on your network.
3. No mandatory cloud database
Scans and device history are not sent to our servers to make the app work.
4. Marketing site
The website may use Google Analytics only after explicit consent through the cookie banner.
5. Deleting your data
You can clear scan history from inside the app or remove the app entirely to erase all local data.
